Triple D Tooling, Inc. has a design team consisting of 10 design engineers who utilize the latest 3D software available. Most all of our designs start on the drawing board as a concept drawing using current math data supplied by our customers. We then design a machine around the part taking into consideration the best layout for the machine operator when running production. We consider load angles, load height and ease of operation in our designs.

After a concept drawing is done, the machine is drawn into the computer in 3D where we layout all components. Utilizing 3D capabilities we can check for clearance problems, add bolts and do any surfacing needed on form steels. We then run blue prints and check dimensions one final time before sending them to our programming department. The programming department breaks down each machine into individual parts, programs them for machining and then sends them out onto the shop floor for manufacturing and assembly.

Triple D Tooling maintains a 30 seat computer network which keeps all our departments linked for maximum efficiency. Our network is based on the Windows NT platform. Our design software is Cadkey 98, FastSurf, Draft-Pak and CK Solids. Our programming software is Mastercam and all our ordering and parts are organized and cataloged using Paradox and Infisy software. Triple D Tooling just installed a new dual processor Compaq server which will help us manage our information well into the new millennium.
